PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1991 to Present The Phares Company -President, Principal and Stockholder.
Responsibilities include the origination, syndication, and closing of various
forms of financing including HUD 202/811 grants, Low Income Housing Tax Credits,
Federal Home Loan Bank, HOME funds, etc. In addition, Ms. Phares is responsible
for the oversight of all company operations.
1988 - 1991 W. Lyman Case & Company - Commercial Loan Officer specializing in
apartment & health care financing.
1972 - 1988 Bright Mortgage, formerly Kentucky Mortgage Company - Commercial
Loan Officer. Closed over $200 million with Department of Housing & Urban
Development, with national insurance companies, with savings & loans, with
Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation and with tax-exempt Industrial Revenue
Bonds. Other assignments include residential loan officer and administrative
position with commercial construction loans.
1968 - 1972 Kentucky Highway Department - Director of Purchasing. Responsible
for $40 million budget and over 50 employees.
