The Phares Company Overview
The Phares Company is a privately owned mortgage company specializing in financing low to moderate income multifamily housing projects using HUD mortgage insurance programs, HUD grant programs, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, Federal Home Loan Bank, and other financing sources. The company was founded in 1991 by Nancy Phares and has grown to be a nationally recognized provider for HUD insured loans and provider of financing for difficult to develop multifamily projects for special needs segments. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff can provide a level of expertise and service that is unmatched in the industry.
There are two divisions in The Phares Company, the Mortgage Lending Division and the Consulting Division. The Mortgage Lending Division focuses on providing financing for market rate and HUD subsidized apartment projects. The Consulting Division provides provides financing and consulting services for special needs populations.
